Alexander
J. Semper,
of Hackensack, formerly of Garfield, died on Friday, April 27, 2007
at Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood at the age of 88 years. Prior
to retiring, he was a boiler fireman for U. S. Rubber Company where he
worked for 33 years. He also was a custodian for 18 years at the
Midland Park Board of Education and Bergen Catholic High School in
Oradell. He was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was a
parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack. He is survived
by his beloved wife of 52 years, Jennie M. Aiellos Semper and devoted
brother of Stella Servas and her husband the late John, Florence
Benjamin, the late Jean Gbur and her husband the late Andrew, the late
Stephanie Lados and her husband the late John, the late William Semper
and his wife Bertha, the late Theodore Semper and his wife Doris and
loving brother in law of Chris Aiellos and his wife Josephine, Angie
Kuhnen and her husband the late Walter, Anthony Aiellos and his wife
Lucille, Beverly VanPamel and her husband the late Frank, the
late Ida Garofalo and her husband Peter, and the late Joseph Aiellos
and his wife the late Helen. and cherished uncle of several nieces and
nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, May
1st, at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue,
Hackensack with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery in
Hackensack. Visiting will be on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
Memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St.
Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 would be appreciated.
