DONALD E. SHEPHERD, 46 of West New York, NJ passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, Don was a veteran of the United States Air force serving his country proudly during Desert Shield/Storm, he worked for Vanguard Health Care @ H.U.M.C as a certified E.M.T., he also volunteered for Pet Smart and the Bergen County Animal Shelter. Don loved playing his Guitars and supporting his beloved NY Yankees. Beloved husband of Kelly L. Niemi. Dearest brother of Marsha Zurowski, Karen Exlos and Cynthia Poe. Don also leaves behind many close and personal friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 17, at 4:30 PM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Sunday for visitation from 2:00 – 6:00 PM.
