ANNE SORAYA SASSINE,  of Hackensack, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011, at her home, at the age of 53 years. She was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and came to this country in 1968 settling in New York and has lived in Hackensack for ten years. She received her Bachelor's Degree from York College of Jamaica, NY and her Masters Degree of Education from City College in New York She was a teacher at the Thurgood Marshall Academy in New York City for 12 years. Beloved wife of Jamil Alrazi. Loving mother of Stephen Dumornay and Rachelle Dumornay of Hackensack. Cherished grandmothe of Aniyah. Devoted daughter of Anne Joseph Sassine of New York. Dearest sister of Raymond Sassine of Palm Beach, Florida, Marilyn Sassine of Palm Beach, Florida and Fritz Sassine of Powhattan, Virginia. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 13th at 11:00 AM, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with burial following at Forest Green Park Cemetery in Morganville, NJ. Visiting will be on Monday from 7 - 9 PM.
