THOMAS
G. STEARNS JR. .
of Maywood, died on Sunday, December 3, 2007,at Hackensack
Hospital Hospice at Prospect Heights, at the age of 66 years.
He was a typesetter for Peacock Publishing Company of Fairfield and
previously worked for many years at Triangle Vogue Graphics in River
Edge. He was aparishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack,
a former assistant Scout Master of Troop 14 of Maywood and a member
of Ducks Unlimited. Beloved husband for 43 years of Beatrice (nee
Gatti). Devoted father of Thomas G. Stearns III and his wife
Michelle and Marc E. Stearns and his wife Marsina. Adored son of
Mabel (nee Vail) of Maywood and the late Thomas G. Stearns Sr.
Cherished grandfather of Kaitlyn Mary, Margaret Beatrice,
Christopher Thomas and Rebecca Ann. Dearest brother of the late
Douglas Richard Stearns. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, December 7,
2007,at St. Francis R. C. Church at 10:00 AM. Interment George
Washington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on
Wednesday evening from 7 - 9 PM and Thursday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street,
Hackensack, NJ 07601 or St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi
Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be appreciated.
