Gerardina DiVerita Tenebruso, 88, of Hackensack, died on
Wednesday, October 12, 2005, at the Hackensack University Medical
Center. She was born in the Province of Avellino, Quaglietta, Italy,
and came to this country in 1958, settling in South Hackensack.
Prior to retiring, she was a seamstress for Randa Neckwear of
Hackensack. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of
Hackensack. Predeceased by her husband the late Vincenzo Tenebruso,
a son Vito Tenebruso, and a sister Assunta Iannone, she is survived
by a son Rocco Tenebruso and his wife Vincenza of Paramus, a
daughter, Carmela Annarumma and her husband Rocco of Paramus, a
daughter in la, Susan Tenebruso of Emerson, six grandchildren,
Geraldina, Teresa, Peter, Paula, Liz, and Rocco, six great
grandchildren, a brother Antonio Di Verita and his wife Fedora of
Ridgefield Park and several nieces and nephews. The Mass of
Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Francis R.
C. Church with burial following at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle
Brook. Visiting at the funeral home will be on Thursday evening from
7 - 9 PM and Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Memorial donations to
