VINCENT P. TRAINA, of South Hackensack, NJ died on Sunday, May 23, 2010, at his home, at the age of 72 years. Born in Hackensack to the late Mickey and Katherine Traina, he resided in South Hackensack for more than 45 years and was the recipient of a proclamation and the key of the city. He was a member of the Professional Golf Association for 48 years and served as a golf professional at Deer Run Golf and Tennis Club of Lincoln Park, River Vale Country Club of River Vale and Tammy Brook Country Club of Tenafly.  He was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Hackensack. He served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. Beloved husband for 50 years of Helen E. (nee Kearney) Traina. Devoted father of Kim Traina-Nolan and her husband Christopher of Mountain Lakes, John Traina and his wife Lourdes of Parsippany, David Traina and his wife Heather of North Haledon, and Gregg Traina of South Hackensack. Cherished grandfather of Taylor, Kenneth, Shane and Vincent. Dearest brother of Michael Traina and his wife Mary of St. Petersburg, Florida. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 27th, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM with entombment following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
