JAMES D. TROBIANO SR., a lifelong resident of Hackensack, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011, at the age of 83 years. Prior to retiring, he was a sales associate for Galsworthy Inc. of West Caldwell.  He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Beloved husband for 61 years of the late Barbara B. (nee Richard). Devoted father of James D. Trobiano Jr. of Hackensack, Thomas C. Trobiano and his wife Jacqueline of Oradell, and John A. Trobiano and his wife Judy of Oradell. Loving grandfather of Gina, Jennifer, Thomas, Danielle, Michael, Pamela, Allison and Christine. Cherished great grandfather of Karina, James and Mason. Dearest brother of Viola Rizzi and her husband Peter of Elmwood Park, Thomas Trobiano and his wife Dorothy of Paramus, and the late Jeanette, Frank, Mildred, John, Helen, Margaret, Alfred, Henry, and Michael. The funeral on Monday, September 12th, at 9:45 AM, from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM. Interment Hackensack Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
