WILLIAM VAN WETTERING, of Hackensack, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 11, 2011, at the age of 71 years. Born in Teaneck, he lived in Jersey City for five years and most of his life in Hackensack. Prior to retiring he worked for Goldberg Slipper Factory of Hackensack. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose of Hackensack. Beloved husband for 49 years of Lynn (nee Cooke). Devoted father of Erin Brisco of Matawan and Jill Van Wettering of Hackensack. Cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Dearest brother of Barbara Mouskourie and her husband Gus of Pennsylvania and Fred Van Wettering and his wife Eileen of South Hackensack. Adoring uncle of many nieces and nephews. The funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 15th, at 10:00 AM, Reverend Brian Laffler officiating with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting will be on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
