CATHERINE W. MILLER VAN WETERING, of Seaside Heights, formerly of Hackensack, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011, at the age of 90 years. Prior to retiring she was a beach attendant at Seaside Heights for 30 years. Previously she had worked at Randa Tie Factory in Hackensack. She was a member of the Rebeccas of Hackensack and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Township of Seaside Heights. Beloved wife of the late Gus Van Wettering. Devoted mother of William Van Wettering and his wife Lynn, Barbara Mouskouie and her husband Gus, and Fred Van Wettering and his wife Eileen. Loving grandmother of Erin, Jill, Joe, Brian, Denise, Brent, John, Lori and Joseph, 13 great grandchildren and the late Daphne, and 5 great great grandchildren. Dearest sister of the late Helen Van Orden, Evelyn Carr and George Miller. Prayer service on Friday at 11:30 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack with burial following at Maple Grove Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 - 9 PM.
