Bella Mullen Vasco,  died on Sunday, October 1, 2006, at the Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews, North Carolina, at the age of 71 years. Born in East Orange, she lived in Newark prior to moving to Charlotte, North Carolina four years ago. Prior to retiring, she was a receptionist for Lee Lighting Company. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of Newark. Predeceased by her husband Peter Vasco and her daughter Laura Vasco, and a brother Edward Mullen  she is survived by two sons Matthew and his wife Melissa of Whitesboro, NY and Mark and his wife Nikki of Charlotte, NC, her grandchildren. Matthew, Melissa, Mark, Nicole, Nicholas and Anthony, and four sisters, Gloria Spohn, Arlene Colacicco, Janet Freeman and Joan Culver. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, on Friday, October 6th, at 10:00 AM, Reverend Robert Wolfee officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM
