SADIE M. VITRANO, (nee Pumelio) of Hackensack, departed life on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at the age of 85. Loving and devoted wife of the late Vincent, mother of Diana and her husband, Don Smartt of Verona and Salvatore and his wife, Margaret of Burlington, CT and grandmother of Nicole, Andrea, Catherine, Allison and Michael, and great grandmother of Madeline, Alexandra and Arthur; sister of Gloria Columbo and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Monday August 15, 2011 at 8:15 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM.
