HAROLD
L. WALDMAN, M. D., of
Hackensack
, died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at the age of 79 years. He was
a Veteran of the United States Navy and Marine Corps. Before
retiring he had his own practice, Waldman Eye. He started his affiliation
with
Hackensack
University
Medical
Center
in 1968 and ultimately became the Chairman of the Department of
Ophthalmology from
1993 - 2007.He was a member of the Navy League and Marine Corps
League, as well as a life member of the
American
Academy
of Ophthalmologists.
Beloved husband of late Helen E. Waldman. Loving father of Craig
Waldman and his wife Ann of New York City and Russell McFatter
and his wife Judy of Canton, Massachusetts .Dearest brother of
Elaine Miller and her husband Lenny of Somerset, NJ. Visiting will
be on Wednesday, June
17th, from 6 - 9 PM Burial will be held on Thursday,
June 18th at
