Robert
Wickersheim, of Hackensack, died on Sunday, September 3,
2006, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 62 years.
He owned and operated Wickersheim and Son' Plumbing Company of
Hackensack. In 1972 he became a member of the City of Hackensack
Construction Board of Appeals and in 1996 he became chairman of the
Appeals Board. He was a veteran of the Navy serving during the Viet Nam
Conflict. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of
Hackensack. He is survived by his wife Carol Ann Brewer Wickersheim,
three sons, Robert J. Wickersheim and his wife Joyce of Hackensack,
Scott P. Wickersheim and his wife Diane of Maywood, Todd M. Wickersheim
and his fiancée Dana R. Ford of Hackensack, his daughter Joy C.
Wickersheim of Hackensack, four grandchildren, Theresa M. Wickersheim,
Alexander G. Wickersheim, Alison J. Wickersheim and Ashley C.
Wickersheim, his sister Mary Lou MacDonald, his In laws, Bill and
Catherine Sterling of Glen Spey, NY, and several nieces and
nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Gus and Mae Baker
Wickersheim, a sister, Elizabeth Zevits, and a brother, John L.
Wickersheim. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday,
September 8th, at 10:00 AM, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple
Avenue, Hackensack. Cremation will be private. Visiting will be on
Wednesday evening from 7 - 9 PM and Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
Memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St.
Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 would be appreciated.
