John Craig Winslow, of Newport, Vermont died on Thursday, December 8, 2005, at Columbia  Presbyterian Hospital in New York at the age of 47 years. Born in Pequannock, Mr. Winslow lived in Hackensack prior to moving to Vermont nine months ago. He was a self employed carpenter with Local # 15 of Hackensack. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge # 658 of Hackensack. Predeceased by his father Lawrence Winslow, he is survived by his mother, R. Elaine Winslow of Maywood, his children, Justin, Jessica, and Rebecca Winslow of Bergenfield, his sister Renee Winslow of Oakland, three brothers, Lawrence Winslow and his wife Kim of Hardwick, Vermont, Edwin Winslow of Hackensack, and Timothy Winslow and his wife Diana of Wood-Ridge, and his fiancée, Cheryl Greenwood of Newport, Vermont. Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 - 4 PM. Cremation is private.
