CARL N. ZEPPONE SR.,
of Lodi, formerly of
Hackensack, died on Saturday September 5, 2009 at the age of 85.
Prior to retiring in 2002, he worked as a Service Writer for
Hackensack Ford, for 40 years.
He was a
Navy Veteran of WW II, a member of the V.F.W. of South Hackensack, a
member of the Hackensack Troast Club, a member of the South
Hackensack Seniors, a member of the Lodi Moose Lodge in
Hackensack and
a parishioner of St.
Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved husband of Connie (nee
Lepore) for 62 years. Loving father of Cece Galante and her husband
Anthony of Lodi, Mary Ann Logerfo of Saddle Brook and Carl N.
Zeppone Jr. and his wife Deborah of Elmwood Park. Cherished
grandfather of Michael, Justine, Sherri, Carrie, Chrystal, Jackie,
Brielle and the late Jeanine. Pre-deceased by his brothers Lucien
and Louis and sisters Marion, Rose, Virginia, Connie and Josephine.
Carl is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 10th,
at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street , Hackensack, at 10:30 AM
with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery. Visiting will be
on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 - 9 PM.
