Maria Di Martino
Zisa ,
of South Hackensack, died on Sunday, October 7, 2007, at her home,
at the age of 90 years. She was born in Santa Croce, Italy and came
to this country in 1960 settling in Hackensack and has lived in
South Hackensack for 25 years. Prior to retiring, she was a
seamstress at Randa Neckwear of Hackensack. She was a parishioner of
St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved wife for 65 years of
Francesco Zisa. Devoted mother of Giovanna Speziale and her husband
Carlo of Little Ferry, Peter Zisa and his wife Jean of Old Tappan
and John Zisa and his wife Francesca of Bergenfield. Cherished
grandmother of Carlo Speziale and his wife Tiziana, Frank Speziale,
Robert Speziale, Frank Bill Zisa, Jennifer Zisa, Frank Vincent Zisa
and Ann Marie Rucker and her husband Jeffrey. Dearest sister of the
late Gaetana Giudice, Concetta Di Martino, Andrea Di Martino,
Giuseppina La Cognata and Rosaria Corello. The Mass of
Christian Burial will be offered on Thursay at St. Francis R. C.
Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack at 10:00 AM with entombment
following at Hackensack Cemetery. Visiting will be on Tuesday
evening from 7 - 9 PM and Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
